My big boy began crawling today! I guess it is a good thing we left the baby gate up. So excited to see him discover new things!

My prayer
The past two weeks I have been experiencing a whirlwind of emotions. Through my joys, fears, worry, excitement, and anxiety You have been there. I have been praying, but not really listening. Because if I was truly listening I would know that,
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
They are new every morning;
Great is your faithfulness.
Through these past few weeks, I have laughed and cried. These past few years I have let my circumstances stunt me and eat away my contentment. Thankfully I serve a forgiving and gracious God. He offers me acceptance way beyond the state of my four walls. And He promised to abide with and in me. If I can only take my eye off myself for a moment to catch a glimpse of the glorious invitation to make my home in Him. Everything begins and ends in His hands. His good hands that can be trusted to hold me as I mourn as well as when I rejoice.
Lord, please keep working on me. I know I am a work in progress, but thankfully through these growing pains. I am growing.

Cousin Time
Grace and David Michael were able to enjoy some cousin time. Grace absolutely adores her cousin Luke! Grace had been talking about Luke's birthday all week. She could not wait to give him his present, a fishing pole. Grace has really enjoyed going fishing with her daddy and wanted Luke to be able to enjoy the same fun with his daddy.
David Michael was able to hang out with his cousin Aveley, which is a few months older than him, but about the same size. (McKenzie boys have never been small)
There is nothing like family! Love that we will be welcoming another crazy cousin to the bunch on Friday!
Grace's Second Camping Trip
Michael took Grace up to the Brevard area for another attempt at camping. Over a year ago, we attempted to take Grace camping (you can read about it here ) and it did not go so well. Michael has been chomping at the bit to take her again and he finally got his chance!
The trip was filled with Grace's new favorite hobby, fishing.
They also hiked, ran, ate WAY too much ice cream and made memories she will remember for a lifetime!

Easter 2015 Photo Shoot
As I think back to last Easter we had just found out that our family was growing. Now this Easter, we have our little David Michael here and part of our family! This Easter was especially special for that reason!
My sister Rebekah came and we had a little Easter photo shoot!
Love these kids so much! So grateful for them everyday!
