38 Weeks

I went to the doctor this morning and I was 5 cm. Doctor said that we would be able to meet our little boy either today or tomorrow!!! Just waiting for the contractions to stay a little more consistent! My bags are in the car and ready to go!

Weight: 38 lbs
Sleep: Well as good as it can be. The contractions seem to come pretty strong at night for some reason. Fortunately most days I do wake up rested.
Mileage: 9.5 this week. I have to say I had a little more motivation to make him hurry and make his appearance.
Cravings: This week I am back to anything cold. Even though it has been chilly, anything nice and cold sounds good!
Miss Anything: Being able to get down on the floor and play with my little munchkin like she wants me to. I sit on the floor, but I can not play and move like she wants. Can not wait to do that again!
Looking Forward: to meeting our little man VERY soon!!!

We also went ahead and put up the Christmas tree this morning! Just another sign that he will be here soon!

Week 37

Went to the dr. yesterday afternoon and had progressed to 3cm. Which means we are making progress. Those contractions that have been waking me up are doing something.

Weight: 35 lbs
Sleep: Not happening. I have routinely been waking up around 2am-3am in the morning and not falling back to sleep until after 5am.
Mileage: 10 miles this week. I have been walking in hopes that I will be able to sleep at night better, but unfortunately that is not the case.
Cravings: I can not think of anything that I am craving, but the appetite has definitely decreased.
Miss Anything: being able to cuddle well with my little girl. She keeps trying to cuddle with me, but I always have to move her around to not sit on her baby brother.
Looking Forward: Meeting our little boy! I am so ready!

Week 36

Yesterday I went to the doctor and found out that I am 2 cm dilated and David Michael is definitely head down! That was encouraging news for this momma! The doctor also predicted two more weeks and we may be seeing our little bundle of joy!! I have never thought I would make it full term, mostly due to the fact that Grace was two weeks early. She was not a small baby weighing 7lbs and 12 oz, so selfishly I would rather David Michael not grow too big in there!

Weight: 31 lbs.
Sleep: Not so good, but just getting me prepared for our little one. Since his head is down it makes sense why my hips have been hurting so badly. He is stretching them out!
Mileage: 6 miles. Slow, but still pushing forward.
Cravings: Nothing. No more room. I have been drinking a lot of smoothies though. Grace and I can always find room for a smoothie!
Miss Anything: Being able to keep up. I keep thinking I can have a full schedule, but halfway through the day I am completely exhausted and need a break!
Looking Forward: To meeting our little bundle of joy! Could be sooner than we think!

Week 35

Weight: 29 lbs. Not completely thrilled with the number, but better than I did with Grace. It also means that he is coming that much quicker!
Sleep: Just getting worse. I am up at least every two hours. I guess I am just getting ready to nurse a little baby. This week heartburn has been waking me up. I have to admit that this morning I wanted to announce "mom not get out of bed day", but no such luck.
Mileage: 6 miles. Trying my best, but most days I feel like I get enough exercise just chasing around my precious little girl.
Miss Anything: Where do I begin?? I think I will just say being able to run. This weather is ideal for training. I hate to be missing out, but I know I am training in another way and my metal at the end of this training is going to be far better than I could ever imagine!
Cravings: Still craving salad. I want anything green that I can get my hands on.
Looking Forward: to officially having two car seats in the back of my car! I brought the infant car seat down from the attic and washed it, but still have yet to install it.
