Yesterday we said goodbye to 2012. This past year was filled with a lot of first, dreams come true, hardship, and love.
We found out shortly after new years 2012 that Grace was already in our lives. Our lives from that point on were changed for the better!
Sadly, we lost a great man David McKenzie. He is greatly missed, but we know that he is looking out for his new little granddaughter.
We had a fun Easter with family, knowing that next year would look much different with a little one running around.
We were able to celebrate Michael's birthday along with my grandmother. (Mema- my grandmother- was 92!)
We found out we were having a girl!!!
We were able to take our last overseas trip before Grace was born. We went to Scotland and saw the beautiful countryside, land of the McKenzies, and lots of sheep!
We had to say goodbye to my husband's favorite truck. It was a good truck and we took lots of fun trips in it, but my husband is so wonderful that he gave it up to buy me my dream...
My HOUSE!!
We bought our first home, which everyday I love it more and more. We live in a wonderful little neighborhood! Our neighbors are so giving and generous.
We were able to spend Grace's first Thanksgiving with family, which is irreplaceable.
We picked out our family Christmas tree.
We were able to celebrate our Savior's birth with the people we love the most, family.
Now the absolute best part of the year was Grace being born.
What did we do before this precious little face was born? She is truly the love of our lives.
